The Moorgen × Wu Bin ZHIZAI·7 Series Table Lamp (D50M1) (Antique Bronze) is a sculptural accent light created through a master collaboration between Moorgen and acclaimed designer Wu Bin. Designed as both a lighting piece and an object of contemplation, it reflects a considered approach to form, placement and spatial balance.

Crafted entirely in metal with an antique bronze finish, the lamp features an organic, hand-sculpted silhouette that feels grounded yet expressive. Emitting a warm 2700K light with a high colour rendering index (Ra ≥90), it softly enhances surrounding materials and textures without overpowering the space.

The concept of “Zhizai” (置在) — meaning to place with intention — underpins the design. Rather than acting as a conventional task lamp, the ZHIZAI·7 Series is designed to define space through presence and proportion, making it ideal for desks, consoles and side tables where atmosphere matters as much as function.

Designer

Wu Bin is a highly regarded designer and curator, and the founder of W.DESIGN. He is the first designer from mainland China to receive the Andrew Martin International Interior Design Award. Known for his restrained, philosophical approach to design, Wu Bin focuses on spatial order, material integrity and emotional depth. The ZHIZAI·7 Series embodies his belief that objects should sit naturally within a space, enhancing harmony rather than drawing attention to themselves.
